Corporate Shows and Presentations

Elizabeth at the 2011 Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber Business Expo held Friday, May 6, at the Perimeter Marriott, Dunwoody, GA.

A great time was had by all at the portrait unveiling of "Joan & Gracie," Saturday, May 14, 2011, Sandy Springs, GA.

Stonewall Asset Management /LeeBrant Jewelers

I just finished up a FABULOUS ART SHOW given for the launch of my new art business Elizabeth Samoluk Fine Art LLC, given by by friends, Heidi & Michael Mulling of Stonewall Asset Management, in Roswell, and held at LeeBrant Jewelers in Dunwoody, GA on November, 13, 2010.  Whoo!  I could not have asked for a nicer event!lebrant

My gracious thanks to Heidi and Michael, for giving this event, and to Brant Bateman and Lee Eskridge for providing this amazing venue to showcase my art!   The fine food & drink, music by Atlanta harpist Nella Rigell, the beauty of the LeeBrant jewelry and the presentation of 26 pieces of my art work, 21 were new pieces that I created over the past 8 months, were presented under a dome ceiling of beautiful clouds painted by a Russian artist.  Of these pieces, the guest witnessed the unveiling of 10 new oil and watercolor portraits!  Most of the portrait recipients attended the show but not all recipients knew that a portrait had been created for them… needless to say the room was filled with a “madhouse” of cosmic energy when the portrait veils were removed!  This rush of excitement was actually the creation of “art” in itself!   My thanks to everyone that came from far and near to witness this event and share in the “life changing” wonder of art!

Thank you Brant and Michael for your kind comments regarding the art show and the art!

Brant Bateman writes:

"What a pleasure your fine art show was for all involved!  It is obvious that you have a well-deserved, ever expanding, loyal group of customers.  You exhibited grace and professionalism from the planning stage through the follow up and Lee and I are proud to have had a small share in your show.  Enjoyable and exciting to behold! “

Michael Mulling writes:

""From a Corporate viewpoint,  we are delighted to be a sponsor of such an important event for your art career.  As your friends, Heidi and I were so pleased that we could be a part of your new business.  Your professionalism in the way you handle yourself and the passion and energy that you bring to your art shines through in every effort.  The Corporate Portrait that you completed for me is proudly displayed in our office prominently where we can admire your talent and skill daily.  With the level of enthusiasm and attention to detail that you add to your accomplished gift for painting, we are confident of your success."

My plan is to continue to call on the local Atlanta corporate business community in regards to generating art sales and for the sale and creation of custom portraits!  I look forward to a wonderful and prosperous 2011 and wish you the same!

Sincerely,

Margot C. of Dunwoody, Georgia:

Elizabeth came to my house, got acquainted with me and my cat. Was here about one hour and got quite a few good pictures of Harley. I was able to choose the pose I liked best. The finished product was lovely, a fine likeness and colorful. I was very pleased with my portrait. It is hanging in a place of honor in my foyer.

Patricia and Andre L. of Woodstock. Georgia:

Recently my husband and I built a new home in Woodstock, Georgia and before we hung the first picture, I invited Elizabeth up to see our home and the colors I was using and wanted to showcase her fine art,  She created "Red Columbine & Iris" and "Daylilies," my favorite flowers for our dining area. They are absolutely stunning and are the first pieces of art that you see as you enter. Thank you Elizabeth for bringing your talent and fine art into our home.

Selina P. of Sandy Springs, Georgia:

"It was such a privilege and a pleasure to be a model along with my daughter for one of Elizabeth's paintings. My daughter, age 3, was so excited and talked about it for weeks! Elizabeth did such a great job of sharing with us the entire process and the final unveiling was such a special moment for our entire family; a treasured memory for many years to come."

Wanda K. of La Fayette, Georgia:

"I was gifted a beautiful painting of one of our horses, Bint Al Nassem MCA.  I have hung it in my guest room for all to see. Elizabeth, it meant the world to me for you to gift me something so beautiful.  The colors are so brilliant the depth is rich. I hang it proudly and will think of you sweet lady every time I look at it. I'm honored."

Christine R. of Atlanta, Georgia:

"Elizabeth recently painted my bridal portrait. She was so wonderful to work with and the finished portrait is just amazing.  It is is a beautiful painting that we are looking forward to enjoying for many years to come. Elizabeth is an incredibly talented artist and her paintings certainly reflect that!"

Jan H. of Oxford, Mississippi:

"The wedding portrait of my daughter is absolutely stunning.  Elizabeth captured the sheer lace veil and sweetheart bodice with dramatic flair.  With highlights of color in the flower bouquet and background, the painting is truly a work of art!"

Jill B. of Alpharetta, Georgia:

"My two young children, now ages 4 and 2, are growing faster than I ever imagined. I photograph then as often as possible but when the opportunity arose to create a hand painted portrait, we didn't hesitate. The fact that we now have beautiful local art of both our children is so special to me. These portraits will be pieces we cherish for a lifetime and will pass down to future generations. The artwork preserves two very special times of their lives and makes me smile every time I see them on the wall in my home. We were beyond delighted with the results and are so grateful for the time and detail Elizabeth devoted to this project."

Corlett E. of Sandy Springs, Georgia:

"The portrait of Corky and Digby truly captured the spirit of two extraordinary members of my family - for they really were members of my family for over 17 years.  Then you have two dogs for that length of time, they are ingrained in the very fiber of your life. Digby was not as vocal as Corky so he would come up and lick my leg when he came in a room. Elizabeth got his little head tilt just right. (Please forgive me the tears are coming) Corky was an emotional sponge - his brown eyes soaked up all my sorrows  and poured out more love and joy than I have ever know from another creature- human or animal.  Elizabeth again captured the best heart I have ever known coming out of brown eyes.  When I look at this portrait, I almost cannot stop looking at it because I am so drawn in and drawn back to the lives I shared with theses two amazing dogs.  Thank you always Elizabeth!"

Dixie S. of Sandy Springs, Georgia:

"This is the second painting commissioning of Ms. Samoluk and I thoroughly enjoy the process. My first one was the Bank of America building which is an Icon of the Atlanta Skyline. I love how Ms. Samoluk's interpretation and technique with vibrant colors bring the buildings alive rather that being just a copy of the buildings."

Sally C. of Sandy Springs, Georgia:

"Elizabeth and I were at a "live model" session together when this lovely painting was created.  This makes it even more interesting to me.  I named the painting "Meriwether."

Andrea C. of Sandy Springs, Georgia:

"Elizabeth has done two paintings for me.  One of my cat Shy and the other of my cat Buddy.  She has done an amazing job with both portraits.  She captured their look and personalities perfectly.  She is a pleasure to work with and talks her time to explain the entire process and ensures that you are completely satisfied with the work.  I love my portraits of Shy and Buddy and will treasure them always."

Lauren S. of Dunwoody, Georgia:

"The portrait of our children is one of our most treasured possessions.  Watching Elizabeth creating it through the different stages and literally bringing it to life was an amazing experience for us and the kids!  Elizabeth did a wonderful job capturing the details of their personalities.  Elizabeth  not only has great talent but is also pleasant and professional.   Starting with the first day at the river when Elizabeth took preliminary photographs until completion of our beautiful art piece, this process was very memorable for us.  Elizabeth provided us with fond memories and a true masterpiece that will be enjoyed through generations."

Karen C. of Fayetteville, Georgia:

"Elizabeth has an amazing talent for bringing out the very soul of her subjects. Her painting of our three cats is a perfect likeness; you feel you can almost reach out and touch them.  Working from three photos, she was able to create a perfectly balanced portrait.  Elizabeth is a true professional in explaining the process and communicating along the way.  The end result is a beautiful representation of her fine work, one that we will treasure always."

Helen W. of Smyrna, Georgia:

"Elizabeth does such a great job of walking you through the entire portrait process.  She spends a lot of time educating you along the way so you can select the medium, pose, background and frame that are right for your needs.  In the end, you get exactly what you were seeking when you first embarked on the journey.  I could not be more pleased with the final product.  I now have a beautiful work of art to enjoy and I look forward to working with Elizabeth in the future when she completes portraits of our children."

Denise L. of Boston, Massachusetts:

"When Beau's portrait arrived and I opened the package I immediately shed tears.  He was life-like, and looking at me with his warm brown eyes as he always did in our eleven years together. My home has come alive with his spirit since the arrival of the portrait.  You captured Beau so completely, right down to the crinkles on his head.  His eyes following me when I moved around my home and his head moves with them.   It's so amazing!  I could never thank you enough or, express to you in words how very grateful I am to have his portrait, a cherished gift that keeps his memory ALIVE forever.  Your artistic talent is truly a wonderful gift and I hope that you have many opportunities to touch someone else's life as you have touched mine.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your outstanding dedication to Beau!"

Joan A. of Sandy Springs, Georgia:

"My Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Gracie, has been the love of my life for the past 6 years.  I wanted to capture a portrait of us in our happiest times.  I enlisted Elizabeth to portray our relationship.  The process was very intricate, professional and fun!  In our first meeting, Elizabeth began with discussions of our lifestyle.  Gracie and I love the park making us smile and happy.  The next meeting was the photo shoot.  Gracie was the star.  Her momma didn't do as well.  Momma wanted Photo Shop applications to make me look younger and cuter!  The next step was the black & white drawing in which Elizabeth recreated the feeling.  And yes, she did.  Elizabeth then went to work on the painting creating our emotion and back drop in acrylics; weeks of work.  The special day came when Elizabeth announced that she had captured the moment.  Elizabeth planned a "portrait unveiling" for my friends and neighbors who know us.  With wine and cheese, the event was an emotional evening for all.   An art work that I will cherish and have for the rest of my life; what a great experience!"

Jan H. of Frisco, Texas:

"I consider the portrait of our three daughters a treasured possession.  Working with Elizabeth was a pleasure.  She worked from special photographs and we were able to include our favorite colors."

Christine H. of Atlanta, Georgia:

"I  absolutely love my watercolor of the Atlanta skyline that Elizabeth painted for me.  She actually went to the rooftop of my building to create this one of a kind painting that I will always cherish."

Grace G. of Savannah, Georgia:

"I purchased my watercolor of "Lilies" as a Christmas gift to myself. When I unwrapped it, I was ecstatic.  It was even more beautiful than it appeared on the website and Ms. Samoluk's choice of matting and frame where such a beautiful compliment to the piece.  It hangs in my bedroom and greets me each morning as I open my eyes.  I could not be more pleased!"

Annalee D. of Kennesaw, Georgia:

"Elizabeth was able to capture my presence on one of the most joyous days of my life, my wedding day.  Her eye for detail is impeccable, with every strand of my hair in place and all of the contours of my dress just how I remember them.  Every time I walk past my portrait, I am reminded of the joy I experienced that day.  I hope to one day pass my portrait on as an heirloom in my own family."

Frank S. of Decatur, Georgia:

"Most of us have had the pleasure of actually "seeing" The Grand Canyon.  I think that it is safe to say that before you actually visited this "Masterpiece," you probably saw many assorted pictures of it in books, magazines, movies, and possibly even photos.  I feel it is also safe to say that your expectation of what you thought you were going to see was dwarfed when you actually saw its magnificence "for real."  Everything you had seen prior to that was more like a facsimile, without capturing the awesome dimensions of its "life."

The very same can be said for Elizabeth's portraits.  Her work brings the "dimension of life" to the canvas.  Elizabeth did a portrait of me, "The Hunt" from a photograph, that captured the essence of the moment in a more life-like fashion than the photograph did.  Her work is proudly displayed in a prominent area if my home, where I continue to enjoy and admire it every time I walk past it.

I highly recommend Elizabeth's talent to anyone interested in procuring fine quality art work."

Karen W. of Sandy Springs, Georgia:

"My first experience seeing Elizabeth's art work at a personal level was when she painted a portrait of my cat.  She asked me for a favorite photo of my cat.  When Elizabeth brought me the finished painting, I actually began crying.  I was so touched to see my family pet in a beautiful artist portrait.  My cat is 20 years old so there is a lot of special meaning behind receiving a one of a kind piece of art that I can cherish long after he's gone.  Elizabeth has the ability to capture the "spirit" and "life" of her subjects.  I will cherish her masterpiece of Phil the cat for many years to come!"

Victor S. of Decatur, Georgia:

"Elizabeth did an amazing portrait of me that was based on a photo taken a few years ago by my sister.  In addition to the unbelievable work itself, there was something else about it that impressed me. A lifelong friend of mine has commented to me on a few occasions that this particular photo represents me very well.  Of all the pictures of me that she could have chosen to paint, the fact that she selected this one validates her eye for details. Just great!"

Sally C. & Brycen C. of Kennesaw, Georgia:

"Elizabeth is wonderful.  Every detail was handled with the utmost care.  Her dedication to perfection showed in the portrait, the presentation of the portrait, and the setup of the show itself.  From the location, LeeBrant Jewelers, to the food, to the harpist playing in the background, we felt everything was first class.  All the portraits were amazing and her floral still life's were exceptional.  We are fortunate to have "two" of Elizabeth's paintings.  Both are of my two sons.  One is a portrait of my son L.A. fly fishing and the one if of my son Brycen, at 5 years old, playing football.  They are so lifelike and hold a lot of memories for the whole family.  They are pieces of art they will have all their lives to enjoy.  Thank you Elizabeth for a wonderful experience."

Sabrina H., M.D. of Roswell, Georgia:

"Ms. Samoluk went beyond the call of duty to prepare the portrait.  She captured the photograph in every way."
