Elizabeth has worked as an artist throughout her life and professionally since 2010, capturing portrait, figure, animal, still life and landscape motifs!

Elizabeth completed a ten-year private mentorship from American Expressionist William Arthur Herring of San Antonio, Texas, in Cloudcroft, New Mexico, 2009 – 2018, and returned in 2022, 2023 and 2024 to take class once again. She trains in both Eastern and Western Art Technique and Philosophy. She has spent the last 6 years, prior to COVID, including 2022, 2023, and 2024 traveling and plein air painting in the fabulous US National Parks and UNESCO World Heritage Sites in New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, Missouri, Tennessee, North Carolina, Louisiana, Arkansas and Texas. She has traveled and studied art history in Italy and surrounding countries.

Elizabeth serves on the Atlanta Artists Center (AAC) Board of Directors as President 2024. By taking her thirty years of outside corporate sales experience, Elizabeth called on corporations to find satellite show locations for AAC and curated these exhibits from 2017 – 2023. One of the most significant, ongoing and successful locations is Colony Square in Midtown Atlanta.

Elizabeth enjoys passing on the valuable art training she has received to students interested in learning how to train in the skills of drawing and painting. She teaches at Emory University Continuing Education, OLLI Emory, her own classes and in May 2023, was invited to teach a workshop in the Hill Country of Texas, Bandera.

Elizabeth has several One-Woman Shows dating from 2017 to the present at Savi Provisions, Midtown Atlanta, Georgia, the Sandy Springs Library, Sandy Springs, Georgia, 2022 and 2023 and the Central Congregational United Church of Christ, Decatur, Georgia 2023

Elizabeth served as a volunteer docent for the High Museum of Art, Atlanta, Georgia, from 1992-1996, giving tours to middle and high school students with an emphasis on the Renaissance to Contemporary art.
